I finally put together an AMD64 system so I can run 64bit OpenSolaris. I purchased an ECS mother board combo from Frys. It has an AMD64 +3000 processor and 1Gig DDR RAM. I had some issues with the onboard NIC but that was quickly overcome by dropping in another PCI NIC. Next step is to do some experiments with zones, ZFS and BrandZ.
